Witam Od dwóch dni cieszę się linuxem (mint 10)... choć nie w pełni. Pojawił się pewien problem, który niestety bardzo mi doskwiera. Potrzebna mi jest drukarka, która w żaden możliwy sposób nie chce zostać zainstalowana. Szukałem przez google, pytałem znajomego, wypróbowałem kilka sposobów i wciąż nic. Drukarka to HP LaserJet 6L, Podłączana przez LPT, jednak przez przejściówkę USB do portu USB w komputerze.  Dodam, że wyszukiwanie sprzętu nie w ogóle nie daje, przez http://127.0.0.1:631 również nic. Pod Ubuntu nie było z tym problemów (jednak pojawił się problem z instalacją samego ubuntu, tak więc pozostałem przy Mint'cie. Proszę o szybką pomoc. |

instalacja poszła dobrze, jednak wciąż nie wykrywa drukarki. Ciągle są problemy, choć przy restarcie systemu już zaczęła się komunikacja między urządzeniami - dioty kontrole zaczęły się świecić. dodam, że teraz - przy najkorzystniejszych wiatrach - napotykam na problem z foomatic-rip-hplip, a właściwie jego braku. Jak go zdobyć bo poradniki nie bardzo mi pomagają. |

Chciałbym by to skutkowało. Niestety, znajomy który korzystał z minta już dłuższy czas, a obecnie przesiaduje na Ubuntu również mi pomagał z tej strony. Niestety, choć wszystko wygląda dobrze, system drukarki wciąż nie widzi, nie mówiąc już o drukowaniu. Znalazłem jeszcze coś na temat brakującego filtru z tego nowego sterownika 3.11.3a: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-software-2/help-how-can-i-install-foomatic-rip-hplip-in-mandriva-843350/Co prawda jest to do innego distro, jednak sposób może być dobry. Jednakże wypróbowałem i wyrzucił mi wiadomość o braku uprawnień  Jestem na koncie admina. |

Jednakże wypróbowałem i wyrzucił mi wiadomość o braku uprawnień.
Jestem na koncie admina. Napisz co konkretnie robiłeś i jaką wiadomość wyrzucił. Co to znaczy, że jesteś na koncie admina? To, że jesteś na koncie użytkownika z uprawnieniami admina nic nie znaczy. Ja nie wiem jak dobrze znasz linuksa i czy wiesz, że powinieneś czasem używać sudo. Bo ten komunikat może na to wskazywać. Tak jak wspomniałem, z Mintem mam kontakt od paru dni dopiero. Nie zastosowałem komendy sudo wtedy, teraz tak i zadziałało. Wygląda na to że filtr został stworzony, jednak nie pomogło nic i wciąż nie drukuje. Wpisywałem, niestety postępowanie według tych instrukcji również nie przynosi rezultatów. Jednak w akcie desperacji skłonny jestem spróbować jeszcze raz, choć wiem, że to nie przyniesie oczekiwanych rezultatów. Tak troszkę teraz off-topic: myślałem nad przejsciem na UBUNTU jednak nie mogę go zainstalować, ani z płyty (nagranej z prędkością 4x, ani z pendriva - tak więc i takie rozwiązanie niestety nie wchodzi w grę i totalnie nie wiem czemu :?) EDIT: Usunąłem, zainstalowałem, wszystko jak napisane - o dziwo wszystko działało (tzn bez błędów). Drukarki wciąż nie widać. Nie działa, tak jakby w ogóle nie odczytywał tej drukarki przez USB |

Tak, próbowałem takiej konfiguracji, jednak kończy się fiaskiem. Tak jak mówię, gdy próbuje skonfigurować, to zwyczajnie nie wykrywa drukarki i pojawia się komunikat, że nie wykryło żadnych urządzeń. CUPSa mam zainstalowanego, próbowałem przez niego również dodać drukarkę jednak również niepowodzenie. dawaj polecenie ( przy podłączonej drukarce ) lsusb próbowałeś tego rozwiązania http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=353741
Dałem. Tak jak mówiłem nie widać drukarki:

no ja bym wywalił przedłużkę USB i spróbował samo LPT-USB-->KOMPUTER ze względu iż problem tkwi nie w konfiguracji lecz w podłączeniu , gdyż Mint jej poprostu nie widzi ..
Przedłużki mają to do siebie iż potrafią nie działać .

Spróbowałem według Twej rady, nawet sprawdziłem przez hp-check (od tak, bo nie wiem czy to przydatne czy nie, ale może wy z tego coś wywnioskujecie). Jednak to samo, co w drugim przytoczonym rezultacie wpisania komendy. Sterownik zainstalowany itd. jednak nie wykrył podłączenia przez USB. |

z tego co widzę to hplip nie widzi drukarki , może dla tego iż nie ma do niej sterowników a co za tym idzie po prostu będzie ślepy na żądania drukarki. Znalazłem na stronie http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/index.php sterowniki ( gutenprint ) do twojej drukarki ale też nie wiem czy będą działać , na liście wspieranego sprzętu jest twoja drukarka więc może będzie działać , musisz sprawdzić . Dziwi mnie tylko dlaczego Mint nie widzi sprzętu , bo powinno to wyglądać miej więcej tak helios@helios-MS-7211 ~ $ lsusb

Zainstalowałem. Niestety - wciąż nie drukuje, a CUPS ma informacje (w zarządzaniu drukarkami) Bezczynna - "Printing page 1, 19%" Edit: Mam takie pytanie. Gdybym zainstalował np Linux Mint Debian lub po prostu Linux Debian - pomogło by? Zmieniłbym najchętniej na ubuntu jednak wiem że to nie możliwe, choć nie wiem z jakiego powodu) |

Możesz spróbować na płytach Live CD/DVD z Linux Mint Debian Edition lub Ubuntu , skoro masz problem z instalacją to może spróbuj wersji alternate , masz ja tutaj http://releases.ubuntu.com/10.10/ tam jest zupełnie inny sposób instalacji , mi trochę przypomina win 98 . Co do samego CUPS -a to ja bym poszukał w ustawieniach URL i dał usb: / dev/usb/lp0 Bo rozumiem że drukarkę udało ci się zainstalować tylko teraz jest problem z komunikacją ?? |
