Szukam programu który pozwoli mi przeglądać ruchome obrazy (coś ala gif) w formacie webp. gThumb nie działa, gwenview też, mirage też nie, a imagemagick nawet nie umiem uruchomić.
Koledzy, mam problem z którym się męczę. Dlaczego na Linuksie nie mogę włączyć w Firefoxie i Chrome geolokalizacji ?? np. Google maps nie może ustalić mojej pozycji. Dziś zainstalowałem Operę w której działa geolokalizacja.

Zainstalowałem Linux Mint 19.3 na dysku M.2, w komputerze mam jeszcze drugi dysk SATA HD oraz podłączony dysk zewnętrzny.
Po kliknięciu w ikonkę dysku z systemem (M.2) na pulpicie dysk się nie otwiera tylko wyświetla komunikat: "zamontowanie położenia nie jest możliwe". Do tego dysku natomiast normalnie wchodzę przez katalog domowy.
Po kliknięciu na pulpicie w ikonę drugiego dysku HD (nazwany 250HD) z danymi pojawia się komunikat: "plik 250HD1 nie jest skojarzony z żadną aplikacją. Użyj opcji otwórz za pomocą, aby powiązać ten typ pliku z programem". Aby dostać się do zawartości tego dysku muszę go w katalogu domowym odmontować.
I tak się dzieje po każdym uruchomieniu komputera. Co zrobiłem nie tak?
Windows 10 posiada opcję "szybki start", która polega na hibernacji jądra systemu i sterowników. To rozwiązanie posiada swoje dobre i złe strony, ale znacząco przyśpiesza start komputera.
Linux nie posiada takiej opcji i na wolniejszych komputerach, szczególnie z dyskami talerzowymi, może startować nawet kilka minut. Można jednak ten start znacząco skrócić.
Najpierw należy sprawdzić które procesy najbardziej spowalniają start. W terminalu wpisujemy:

Jak się okazuje proces apt-daily.service spowalnia system na wolniejszych komputerach o prawie 53 sekundy. Ta usługa odpowiada za automatyzację kilku procesów związanych z apt. Jeżeli komuś zależy na tych 53 sekundach, to z powodzeniem można się pozbyć tej usługi:
Nie zauważyłem żadnych niedogodności po jej wyłączeniu w Mincie 19.3. W Mincie 20 ta usługa już nie uruchamia się wraz z systemem, więc nie ma problemu.
Drugi czasochłonny proces (około 12 s na wolnym sprzęcie), który również możemy wyłączyć, to ModemManager.service, odpowiadający za działanie modemów (2G / 3G / 4G). Jeśli nie używamy takich modemów, to wyłączamy ten proces:
Mam laptop Compal FL90 w którym spaliła się karta nVidia i została zastąpiona kartą ATI mobility radeon 3650.
Laptop działał do tej pory bez zarzutu na Windows XP. Postanowiłem zainstalować na nim Linuxa i niestety jest dziwny problem z falującym obrazem. Wygląda to jak zakłócenia na starej analogowej telewizji. Obraz śnieży i przesuwają się pasy. Testowo próbowałem też inne dystrybucje i za każdym razem problem jest podobny. Ponieważ na Windows XP nie było żadnych problemów to na pewno sprzęt jest sprawny, to musi być jakiś problem programowy.

Z tego, co widzę, to opcja instalacji obok windows dostępna w instalatorze tworzy partycje linuxa na dysku Widowsa.
Czy jeśli wybiorę opcję instalacji niestandardowej, to będę mógł tylko kliknąć zainstaluj linuxa na nieprzydzielonym miejscu (a instalator zadba o odpowiednie partycje), czy będę musiał sam tworzyć partycje linuxowe?
Witam wszystkich mam problem ponieważ internet po wifi działa a po kablu już nie. Na windowsie miałem taką samą sytuacje i wystarczyło dograć sterowniki do karty sieciowej. Tylko nie wiem jak to zrobić na linuxie

Mam nadzieję, że piszę w odpowiednim dziale.
Ostatnio kupiłem zewnętrzny dysk SSD. po podłączeniu mam dziwną ikonkę, która z wyglądu sugeruje błąd.
Wszystko działa, kopiuje się i odczytuje, jednak ta ikona nie daje mi spokoju, ponieważ przy innych dyskach zewnętrznych SSD, czy talerzowych, czy przy Pen drive pokazuje normalną ikonkę zewnętrznego urządzenia.
Czy ktoś się spotkał z podobnym problemem?
