Cinnamon - duże obciążenie procesora

Szanowni Użytkownicy,
od dwóch - trzech dni zauważam dziwne duże skoki obciążenia CPU, także przy braku otwartej jakiejkolwiek aplikacji. Ciężko pracujący wentylator skłonił mnie do zajrzenia do menadżera zadań, a tam zobaczyłem, że bardzo duże obciążenie wnosi pulpit Cinnamon. Czy ktoś spotkał się z podobnym problemem?

Dzięki za zwrócenie uwagi.

Drążę jeszcze temat i zauważyłem, że samo wyświetlanie wykresu użycia zasobów w Monitorze systemu daje duży wzrost obciążenia CPU przez Cinnamon (z 2..8% do 40%). Co więcej - wpływ na to ma też ułamkowe skalowanie wyświetlania (mam ustawione 150% na monitorze 4K). Wyłączenie skalowania powoduje spadek obciążenia poniżej 20%. Chyba niepotrzebnie robię zamieszanie.
Czy przejście na Wayland może poprawić tę sytuację? A może to wynika z nieoptymalnych sterowników grafiki? Ma ktoś jakieś sugestie?
