Karta Intel-N 1000 nie łączy się z AP Ubiquiti

Ze strychu wyciągnąłem starego laptopa Lenowo SL-410.
Na nim zainstalowałem Minta 21.1 i  mam problem z połączeniem się z AP Ubiquiti.
Ustawienia sieciowe są OK - przez tą kartę łączę się z routerem, ale ma za słaby sygnał (z piwnicy na poddasze).
Na szczęście blisko mam AP Ubiquiti... Ale wbudowana karta sieciowa próbuje nawiązać połączenie bez powodzenia.
Dopiero  gdy używam zewnętrznej karty na USB - bezproblemowo się łączę z tym access pointem.
