Cześć, witam.
Z racji tego ze jestem nawet nie raczkującym a raczej pełzającym użytkowaniem Linuxa, zwracam się do was z prośba.
Chciałbym opanować swoje peryferia, jednak do tego potrzebuje zainstalować program SteelSeries Engine.
Czy mogę prosić o jakaś instrukcje jak to zrobić na Linuxie? (i czy jest to realne?)
Na stronie mamy tylko instalator na Windowsa oraz macOS.

Nie wiem z czego to wynika. Chcę się dowiedzieć, czy to wina najnowszego jądra. Jeśli tak to powrócę do poprzedniego.
Chciałem zainstalować firefox, libreoffice i operę. Pod koniec pojawiły się jakieś błędy.

Witam serdecznie zainstalowałem z repo:
1. OpenShot v2.4.3
2. Blender 2.82a
3. Inkscape v0.92.5
Ścieżki ustawiłem takie:
Blender: /usr/bin/blender
Inkscape: /usr/bin/inkscape
Gdy wybieram Tytuł:
1. Tytuł oraz wybieram zaawansowany edytor to ładnie otwiera się Inkscape i wszystko śmiega
2. Tytuł animowany:
Wybieram jakieś napisy to dostaje błąd
Kod: Do uruchomienia tej funkcji wymagany jest blender - otwartoźródłowy pakiet przeznaczony do tworzenia animacji 3D (http://blender.org)
Proszę sprawdzić preferencje programu OpenShot i upewnić się, że podano właściwy plik wykonalny programu blender.
Powinna być wpisana ścieżka do pliku blender na twoim komputerze.
Upewnij się też, że ścieżka prowadzi do programu Blender w wersji 2.78 lub wyżej.

Cześć wszystkim
Tym razem zwracam się do Was z gorącą prośbą o rozwiązanie problemu z dosyć wolnym działaniem sieci Wi-Fi. Zdecydowanie wolniejszym niż na innych urządzeniach np. telefon. Mam internet 500 Mbps a na laptopie z Mintem nie wykorzystuję nawet 10% możliwości podczas, gdy telefon leżący obok działa ze znacznie większą prędkością (kilkaset mbps). Oba urządzenia testowałem speedtestem.
Googlowałem trochę ale moje małe doświadczenie z systemem nie umożliwiło mi rozwiązanie problemu. Do tej pory wyłączyłem jedynie "Power Management" z "on" na "off" (widoczne poniżej przy wyniku komendy iwconfig).

Witam.
Za bardzo nie wiem gdzie umieścić pytanie, prośba o przeniesienie.
Miałem minta 19.3 upgrade do 20 przez konsole udało się, ale.
Grafika/animacja się uruchamia i zaraz odpala się konsola i prośba o login i hasło, nie mam pomysłu jak przejść w tryb graficzny, z konsoli.
Podobne problemy pojawiały się jak było mało miejsca na dysku ( w innych wersjach, trochę pokopałem w necie za min tu post wrucam).
Usunąłem jakieś śmieci z "pulpitu" łączenie z 4 giga, za pomocą konsoli bo tylko to działa ale dalej nic.
Ile wolnego musi być na dysku żeby mint się uruchomił ?
Jakiś pomysł co powinienem zrobić ?
upgrade update i autoremove nie pomaga...

Witam,
otóż mój problem jest taki. Ostatnio postanowiłem ożywić starego laptopa, w którym całkiem padł dysk. Kupiłem nowy i potrzebowałem systemu i padło właśnie na linuxa mint (jest to pierwszy raz kiedy używam linuxa). Zbootowałem pendrive na innym komputerze i na początku nie mogłem ustawić jego pierwszeństwa w biosie aczkolwiek w końcu się udało. Odpaliłem komputer i włączyłem instalacje. Wyskoczył błąd (nie pamiętam dokładnie ale było tam coś z user error) wiec anulowałem instalacje i uruchomiłem ponownie laptopa i od wtedy za każdym razem wyskakuje coś takiego (załącznik) i nie mam pojęcia co zrobić.

Próbuję zainstalować Linuksa i wyświetla mi się komunikat, że nie może instalować z powodu Intel RST. Mint przy tym wyświetla odesłanie do instrukcji umieszczonej na forum Ubuntu (tej), ale zastosowanie instrukcji kończy się tym, że Windows (który chce zachować jako drugi system) musi się samonaprawiać i wraca do ustawień pod RST. Czy jest możliwe, że trzeba coś jeszcze przestawiać, żeby faktycznie wszystko pod AHCI?
Próbuję naprzemiennie walczyć raz z instalacją Minta, raz z innymi distro i ciągle coś :-(

Pytanie być może głupie i z oczywistą odpowiedzią, proszę nie bić :-)
Standardowe iptables blokuje po IP lub po portach.
Ale czy na Linuksa jest jakiś odpowiednik tego, co robi część windowsowych firewalli (tych z firm trzecich, nie tego wbudowanego), czyli coś, co działałoby w tle i:
- informowało w przypadku, gdy jakiś program próbuje łączyć się z internetem,
- nie przepuszczało tego połączenia do momentu akceptacji
- miało oddzielone funkcje dla przepuszczenia jednorazowego lub zapamiętania danego programu (z możliwością późniejszej zmiany decyzji).
- z interfejsem graficznym.
